International Chinese Kung Fu Festival 2016 is touted to be one of the greatest highlights in the State of Penang, Malaysia during Chinese New Year 2016.
It is common knowledge that kung fu can be illustrated as either an ancient sport or set skills of self-defense. This treasured traditional culture was brought from The Republic of China to the State of Penang in Malaysia, during the mass migration period to Straits Settlements centuries ago. Modernization and technological advancements today has made these cultures an almost forgotten treasure. Consequently, it has made it even more urgent for everyone in the kung fu fraternity to increase their efforts to promote and preserve the inheritance of this priceless treasure!
This ancient sport is widely acknowledged to not only improve individual body structures but more importantly improve the mental and health states of the individuals. In “International Chinese Kung Fu Festival 2016”, we are extremely grateful to have been able to gather Senior Masters from Penang, Malaysia and several other countries to share the secrets of kung fu applications. Programs lined up for the festival include live demonstrations of techniques, styles of usage and performances by these Senior Masters!
