A Penang State initiative tasked to develop the local start-up & entrepreneurship ecosystem under InvestPenang will be organizing its ‘Penang @CAT Programme Launch’ by The Rt. Hon. Mr Lim Guan Eng, Chief Minister of Penang.
In the last year, Penang @CAT has served as Penang’s catalyst in accelerating emerging tech start- ups & entrepreneurs to gain access to co-working space, tech community events, accelerator / entrepreneurship development programmes and other value added services.
Moving forward, Penang @CAT will be taking this initiative a step further by introducing a host of permanent programmes to bridge corporates with startups, entrepreneurs & techies for innovation and partnerships & solutions, which will be shared by Penang @CAT’s new Programme Director. This will also include a new online community portal where local citizens can celebrate, connect, convene and collaborate as a community of business leaders, entrepreneurs, and techies.
