The world renowned United Buddy Bears from Berlin will be making its way to Penang. Presented by the Penang State Government for the public in conjunction with Merdeka, Malaysia Day as well as Visit Penang Year, United Buddy Bears Penang is aimed to promote peace and unity in addition to celebrating the various non-stop festivals. A total of 148 two-meter tall Buddy Bears from various countries such as Turkey, Poland, Denmark, Finland, Africa, Bulgaria, Russia, France, Brazil and many more will be colourfully displayed in a big circle at the Esplanade where visitors can view and photograph them up close.
