Westbound traffic on the Butterworth-Kulim Expressway (BKE) between KM16.7 and KM17.7 near Penanti will be diverted from 10:30am to 12:30pm on 21 October 2026 for an emergency simulation exercise. Motorists travelling from Butterworth/Kubang Semang towards Lunas will be diverted through the eastbound Penanti Rest and Service Area (R&R).
