This Privacy Policy explains how Penang Events (“we”, “us”) handles information when you visit pgevents.my (the “Website”). We respect your privacy and handle personal data in line with Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
Information we collect
- Information you send us. If you email us (for example to submit an event or ask about sponsorship), we receive your name, email address and whatever you include in your message.
- Usage information. Like most websites, our server, security and analytics tools automatically record technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device, pages visited and the time of your visit.
- Cookies. Small files stored on your device that help the Website work, measure visits and show advertising (see below).
We do not ask visitors to create accounts, and we do not sell your personal data.

- To reply to your messages and consider events you submit.
- To run, secure and improve the Website.
- To show advertising that keeps the Website free to use.
Links to other websites
Our event posts link to organisers, ticketing sites, social media and news sources. Those websites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.
Your rights
Under the PDPA you may ask to access or correct personal data we hold about you, or ask us to stop using it. Email us at [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
