Venue: Gurdwara Road to Esplanade
The pesta chingay parade starts from Gurdwara Road at 7.00pm and will pass through Penang Road, Carnarvon Street, Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling and Light Street before ending with a spectacular and elaborate show at Esplanade (Padang Kota Lama). Total route will be about 3.5km.
This year, there are a total of 30 Chingay, Lion Dance and Dragon Dance teams, including a float will perform in the parade, along with marching bands.
